Alphabet Workers Union (AWU) joined a global union alliance called Alpha Global. Alpha Global is an international coalition formed by 13 unions across the world in 10 different countries including the US, UK, and Switzerland and affiliated with UNI Global Union. Alpha Global is now choosing a steering committee, which may include Google workers. They plan to launch campaigns targeting "national issues, like the treatment of content moderators in certain countries, as well as international concerns, like workers being forced to sign nondisclosure agreements".
