Workers at Epic Systems, a medical records software company, protested the company's plans to mandate that all employees return to in-person work in July/August 2020. Two employees created a survey that they then distributed among employees, yielding over 400 responses indicating broad dissatisfaction with Epic's covid response and plans. They sent a summary of the data to Epic leadership, but were ignored. Eventually, Epic walked back their plans after national and local news media picked up the story.
